Delonte West Has Received Help From A Billionaire
Former Dallas Mavericks guard Delonte West has a billionaire on his side.
West has suffered from an ongoing fight with substance abuse, homelessness, and bipolar disorder for years.
Former Mavs owner Mark Cuban even picked him up at a Dallas gas station to get him some help.
Cuban desperately tried to find him after photos of him panhandling in the Dallas area surfaced in 2020. Once he connected with Delonte West, he took him to a local hospital.
He would soon reunite with his mother and take the necessary steps of checking himself into rehab.
Unfortunately, his addiction and condition always lead him right back to the streets. We can only hope and pray that West receves the help that can get him back on track.
