BREAKING: Jimmy Kimmel & Jim Carrey DESTROY Donald Trump LIVE On TV — The Brutal Takedown That Left Mar-a-Lago in Total Meltdown
In a scathing and comedic takedown, Jimmy Kimmel and Jim Carrey unleashed a barrage of ridicule against former President Donald Trump during a live television segment that has since gone viral. The duo’s performance, rich with sharp satire and surreal exaggeration, laid bare the absurdity of Trump’s presidency, transforming political commentary into a demolition of ego and incompetence.

Kimmel opened the segment by highlighting Trump’s recent threats to revoke comedian Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship, a move he deemed not only impossible but emblematic of Trump’s desperate need for distraction from pressing issues. The former president’s antics, Kimmel argued, have turned the Oval Office into a comedy club where governance is treated like a talent show, and the punchlines write themselves.
Carrey, known for his surreal style, amplified this critique by portraying Trump as a grotesque caricature, suggesting that his leadership resembles a chaotic circus act rather than a serious political administration. The imagery of a president who prioritizes spectacle over substance resonated deeply, as both comedians pointed out how Trump’s obsession with crowd sizes and ratings reduces politics to a popularity contest.

Kimmel’s incisive humor underscored the transformation of political discourse under Trump, where facts became inconvenient obstacles rather than guiding principles. He painted a picture of a leader more concerned with maintaining a facade than addressing real crises, likening Trump’s governance to a reality show filled with plot twists and cliffhangers rather than a functioning democracy.
The segment also delved into the darker implications of Trump’s behavior, with Kimmel and Carrey exposing the narcissism and fragility that underpin his public persona. They highlighted how Trump’s antics, including his obsession with approval ratings, reveal a profound insecurity that undermines his authority and credibility.
As the comedians dismantled Trump’s carefully constructed mythology, they emphasized that satire does not exaggerate but rather reflects the reality of his presidency. Kimmel and Carrey’s combined efforts ensured that Trump’s legacy is not merely a chapter in American history but a cautionary tale of ambition without substance, power without principle, and a mockery of responsibility.

In the end, the laughter generated by Kimmel and Carrey served not just as entertainment but as a critical commentary on the state of American politics. Their performance acted as a mirror reflecting the absurdity of a presidency that many now view as a prolonged comedy skit, leaving audiences to ponder the real tragedy: the nation had to endure the show, and when the curtain finally falls, it will be the comedians who receive the applause for making the experience bearable.

Footballer Nikola Pokrivac , a former member of the Croatian national team and former player for Dinamo, has died unexpectedly at the age of 39 in a serious traffic accident, Croatian media reported Saturday.
According to police sources, Pokrivac and another person died Friday night in a crash involving four vehicles near Karlovac, about 50 kilometers south of Zagreb, while three other people were injured.

Multistate salmonella outbreak linked to egg recall sickens dozens: CDC
What is salmonella infection?
People with salmonella infection often suffer diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps after getting in contact with infected animals, their feces, or their environment or eating contaminated food or drinking contaminated water.
Federal health officials are investigating a multistate salmonella outbreak linked to recalled eggs.
Dozens sick
By the numbers:
As of August 27, the CDC reported 95 people in several states have been infected with the same salmonella strain. Illnesses began between January and July. So far, 18 people have been hospitalized and no deaths reported.
States with people reported sick include:
- Washington state: 3
- California: 73
- Nevada: 3
- Arizona: 1
- Hawaii: 1
- Nebraska: 1
- Iowa: 1
- Minnesota: 4
- Georgia 1:
- Florida: 1
- North Carolina: 2
- Pennsylvania: 1
- New York: 2
Big picture view:
State health officials have linked illness subclusters to eggs served at four unidentified restaurants, the CDC said.
What they're saying:
"State and local public health officials are interviewing people about the foods they ate in the week before they got sick. Of the 36 people interviewed, 33 (92%) reported eating eggs. This percentage is significantly higher than the 78% of respondents who reported eating eggs in the FoodNet Population Survey—a survey that helps estimate how often people eat various foods linked to diarrheal illness. This difference suggests that people in this outbreak got sick from eating eggs," the CDC explained.

What is salmonella?
Dig deeper:
According to the CDC, salmonella is a group of bacteria that can cause gastrointestinal illness and fever called Salmonellosis.
Most people infected with salmonella experience diarrhea, fever and stomach cramps.
Symptoms usually start six hours to six days after swallowing the bacteria, and most people recover without treatment after four to seven days.
Some people – especially children younger than five, adults 65 and older, and people with weakened immune systems – may experience more severe illnesses that require medical treatment or hospitalization.
Severe symptoms include diarrhea and a fever higher than 102°F, diarrhea for more than three days that is not improving, bloody diarrhea, so much vomiting that you cannot keep liquids down, signs of dehydration such as not peeing much, dry mouth and throat, and feeling dizzy when standing up.
